# For Product & UA

> Everything that has to be decided and configured outside the code — placement, rewarded experiences, and attribution through your MMP.

This section is for the people deciding *what* gets built and making sure it reports correctly:
where the entry point sits, which rewarded experiences to run, what has to be settled before
engineering picks up the work, and how attribution is wired through your MMP.

Nothing here assumes an engineering background, and none of it needs the SDK — every step can
run in parallel with the build. If you are writing the code, the
[engineering docs](https://docs.almedia.dev/technical.md) are the place to be instead.

## Two jobs, often two people

**Product and design** own the placement: where the pop-up fires, what the entry point looks
like, which experiences are enabled. This is where most of the outcome is decided.

**UA and growth** own attribution: adding Almedia as a partner in Adjust, AppsFlyer or Singular
and switching on the right postbacks. Short work, but a dependency — it has to be done before
launch.

> **[Best practices](https://docs.almedia.dev/overview/best-practices.md)**
>
> The rules the pop-up and the persistent entry point are judged against, with annotated do and
> don't examples for each. Worth reading before anything else here. Under **Overview**.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **A note for editors.** Every page in this section, MMP Setup included, is plain MDX using
> only built-in components, so it can be edited safely in the Mintlify web editor. Please keep
> it that way: snippets and custom components do not work there, and adding one will break
> editing for everyone else on the team.
>
> There is no exception. **Best practices** is a purpose-built interactive page owned by
> engineering; it lives under **Overview** and is edited in the repo, not here.
